ESV We know that everyone who has been born of God does not keep on sinning, but he who was born of God protects him, and the evil one does not touch him.

Now look at the certainty of relationship in Verse 19. We know that we are of God, and the whole world is in the power of the evil one. (1 John 5:19 RSV).

We know that whosoever is born of God Who is regenerated by his Spirit and grace, and quickened by his power; who has Christ formed in him.
