The 90-Hour Child Care Certification in Maryland is a pre-service training program that prepares individuals to work as lead teachers in child care centers.

These two courses meet the requirements for the 90 clock-hours required for Maryland State Child Care Certification (minimum grades of “C” are required).

This certification course satisfies the child development half of the MSDE requirement of 90 hours for child care teachers and directors.

The 90-Hour Certificate is broken up into two courses: the 45-Hour Methods and Materials and the 45-Hour Growth and Development.

These two courses meet the requirements for the 90 clock-hours required for Maryland State Child Care Certification (minimum grades of “C” are required).

We offer the courses needed for childcare center teachers to complete the 90 Hour training required by the State of Maryland, Office of Child Care.
