boxwood turning orange in summer - Axtarish в Google
Boxwood leaves tend to turn yellow and then orange as they die and just before they fall off. Usually this happens with older leaves, not leaves on the tips of stems, unless the plants are stressed . Moving established plants was probably just enough to stress them a bit, resulting in dying leaves.
The discolouration of the Box plant means that leaves can often be seen turning an orange, bronze or rust colour and it's normally due to environmental stress.
Ultimately bronzing in boxwoods is a stress response, and while it can be seen in the summer due to water stress it is most common in winter.
