Carbon and phosphorus in their most thermodynamically stable forms in ambient conditions (graphite; black phosphorus) are flaky, and easily cleaved. If you count the metalloids boron, silicon, germanium, arsenic, antimony, and tellurium as non-metallic elements then they too are brittle.
