Using Docker Compose with Datadog. Datadog offers native Docker container monitoring, either by running the Agent on the host or running in a sidecar container.

Traces can be submitted to the Agent from other containers either using Docker networks or with the Docker host IP.

This repository is meant to build the base image for a Datadog Agent 5.x container. You will have to use the resulting image to configure and run the Agent.

If you are using Docker, there are several container images available through GCR and ECR that you may want to use within your environment.
