If your Dell laptop computer locks after 1 minute, it's probably because of the Dell Optimizer app . There's a feature called Proximity Sensor, and usually set to 1 minute by default. You need to either disable this or uninstall the whole app. Open up Dell Optimizer, go to the main menu and select Proximity Sensor.
