100 skill points is the maximum but you can change how they are distributed.
Total skills points a created golfer gets is 100. The power and putting can take more than 1 skill points. Putting takes at most 3 or 4 skills points. |

You level up to 50. You can get 100 skill points. Specs are incredibly important to reaching your builds full potential. Skill points just scratch the surface. |
There is no way to max out every skill, and it seems that's by design. Your overall rating will still be higher than that of any pro in the game. |

It takes a total of 73 skill points to max out the Power stat so this can be achieved using part f the 100 total that available if someone really wants to. |
