ECC requires an ALEKS Placement, Preparation, and Learning (ALEKS PPL) assessment to determine readiness for mathematics courses for students.

SUNY Erie offers the ACCUPLACER® (English, EAL and math) placement tests. The results of these tests will place you in the math, English or EAL classes.

The Initial test is free to all incoming ECC students · To re-take the test, the fees are $10.00 per section, and you must wait 24 hours after the initial test.
