Altars are TOOLS to come to God, a place to visit and to come with an attitude of love and respect. Repentance grows from good altars.

God showed His grace in choosing a man that was not worthy on his own, but who would walk by faith in, and obedience to, the almighty God who would call him.

Now as we look at Genesis 12, verses 1 through 3, and God's promises and God's requirements in the covenant of grace. One thing comes through loud and clear, ...

Abram went into the unknown trusting God. He did not know where he was going. By faith he made his home in the Promised Land like a stranger.

Abram is the father of faith, but this does not mean he was without failure. In Genesis 12, both the faith and failure of Abram are shown in stark contrast.
