The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word.

1 In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son.

We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away.

11Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.

1Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles.
