Separate the Babies
  1. Gently dig your fingers in the soil around the baby pilea. Feel where the root goes. Follow it about 1″ down under the soil.
  2. Carefully remove a bit of soil around it to expose the root connection.
  3. Use a clean, sharp knife and cut the baby plant away from the mother plant.
