Step-By-Step: How to Tie a Slip Knot
- Form a look near the end of the rope.
- Form a bight (curved section or slack part between two ends of rope) with the short end.
- Tuck the bight through the loop and tighten.
- To untie, pull the tail end. This will withdraw the loop and cause the knot to unravel instantly.
