Costco Wholesale Corp. last month began the initial phases of construction for a store in Prosper — its first in the booming town on the north side of the Metroplex. The 160,000-square-foot location will rise at the northeast corner of FM 1385 and University Drive. The company expects to open it in late fall of 2024 .
