Students currently undertaking a taught Master's degree at Cambridge must achieve a mark of 70% to be allowed to continue to the PhD degree.

The CDT MRes+PhD is a 1+3 model with a one year Masters course with taught and research elements followed by a three year PhD programme.

The Civil Engineering Division provides a wide range of education opportunities, including undergraduate, postgraduate and executive programmes.

By the end of the MRes course, the students will have a strong foundation of broad research skills and have developed a proposal for a PhD project.
