You can create any custom canvas size up to those maximum bounds - the limit on canvas size is the canvas area. As you increase the size of one dimension of the canvas (up to a maximum of 16,384 pixels) you must decrease the size of the other dimension so as not to exceed a maximum area of 8192 x 8192 .
Your iPad model determines your maximum canvas size in Procreate. Generally, the newer the model, the larger the canvas you can create. |

A 24x36 inch canvas will be viewed from further away so you don't need 300 DPI. 200 DPI will probably be fine. |
