Let us pray in faith –. A verse from Psalm 124, the Psalm set for today –. “Our help is in the name of the Lord,. The Maker of heaven and earth”.

We escaped like a bird caught in a hunter's trap. The trap was broken, and we escaped. Our help is in the name of the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.

Prayer points from Psalms 124-127. 1. My Lord and my God,do not forsake me frustrate the plans of angry people over my life and my family.

This is a psalm of remembrance. The one who made heaven and earth could have closed the waters over them. The enemy could have prevailed against them.

Psalm 124 is all about depending on God. The psalm points entirely to God and his help, and there is no stealing the glory for oneself.

Slow down. Step into the Spirit's Rhythm. A new day is beginning. God invites you into his presence. God invites you to give your day to him.

The psalmist has experienced 'GOD on his side' (verse 1). Jesus' disciples came to see this even more profoundly through their experience of Jesus.
