1 O Lord, you have searched me and known me. 2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from far away.

1 You have searched me, LORD, and you know me. 2 You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.

O LORD, you have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from far away.

139 O Lord, thou hast searched me and known me! 2 Thou knowest when I sit down and when I rise up; thou discernest my thoughts from afar.

I could ask the darkness to hide me or the light round me to turn into night, but even darkness is not dark for you, and the night is as bright as the day.

Do I not hate, LORD, those who hate you? Those who rise against you, do I not loathe? 22. With fierce hatred I hate them, enemies I count as my own.
