1 апр. 2020 г. · Psalm 34 seems to be David's thankfulness to God for getting him out of the dire circumstances he was in, as well as his contriteness over not fearing God.

David won his freedom by a radical display of humility. Other humble people would be glad to hear how God blessed and rewarded David's humility.
What does Psalm chapter 34 mean? Psalm 34 opens with something David expresses several times: a vow to constantly praise and honor God (Psalm 61:8; 145:1–2).
One typical characteristic of the psalm is that it is not directed to the Lord. Instead the psalmist addresses his ”children” (verse 11), i. e. his disciples.
In singing this psalm, we are both to give glory to God and to teach and admonish ourselves and one another.
