Visit Wales uses four regions:
- North Wales — northern six principal areas (i.e. excluding Powys)
- Mid Wales — Ceredigion and Powys.
- "West Wales" — with the common definition of South West Wales.
- "South Wales" — with the common definition of South East Wales.
