God's plan is that the Jews see the blessing of God upon Gentiles, and therefore seek God's blessings for themselves. Wonderful things lie ahead for the Jews ...

Note then the kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who have fallen, but God's kindness to you, provided you continue in his kindness.
