Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward.

Through faith in Jesus we have received God's grace. In that grace we stand. We are full of joy because we expect to share in God's glory.

We also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.

We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character.
