Jesus Christ as Fulfillment of the Sacrificial Lamb
Isaiah describes the Messiah as a meek and suffering servant: “He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter” ( Isaiah 53:7 ).
