Death is real and harsh. No resuscitation of Lazarus from the dead should sentimentalize or simplify that truth.
Death is not the final moment. For Christians, it is only a departing from this world and an arrival in God's presence. The body then awaits the resurrection.
Life Among The Graves. John 11:32-44. Today is All Saints day, a day to remember those who have died in the Lord and gone on to their reward.
John 11 opens with these words: “Now a certain man was ill, Lazarus of Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha.
