Change the startup disk
  1. Go to the Terminal app on your Mac.
  2. Log in to the remote computer using SSH, then enter: % sudo systemsetup -setstartupdisk path. Replace path with the path to an available startup disk on the remote computer.
To change the startup disk type the following in Terminal: sudo bless -mount /Volumes/"name of your startup disk" -setBoot
