Simple fixative is a solution or gas which contains only one active ingredient or that has a singlechemical solution . Examples include; Formaldehyde, Glutaraldehyde, Mercuric Chloride, Potassium Dichromate, Picric Acid, Osmium Tetroxide, Acetic Acid, Ethanol, Acetone and Chromic Acid.
