Whatevers ON your person is lost if you don't go back to your body and recover it . But all that stuff should be in your local inventory which is in your home location and safe as long as you don't take it with you.

It is playable. If you want your backpack back you have to quit the game if you die and rejoin. Dont save after you died. |
