Real-time hashrate refers to the current hashing power being generated by a mining rig, while reported hash rate is the average hashing power over a certain period, such as 24 hours. Real-time hashrate can fluctuate rapidly, while reported hash rate is typically more stable and reflects the mining rig’s long-term performance.

It works both ways, the current hashrate will fluctuate around the reported hashrate. As long as you leave your machine running over the sampling period your average hashrate should however be pretty close to it.

If your reported hashrate and average hashrate are significantly different, then you might consider making some optimizations. The reasons why this can be is: You have a lot of rejected shares: Optimize your overclocking settings.

2 Answers. Sorted by: 4. The hashrate that is reported by the pool is an average over some time period - for example the original core pool implementation uses a window of 10 minutes (600 seconds) to compute the average. Your miner probably reports the average hashrate over a shorter window.

Why is my Average hashrate approx 30% lower than reported hash rate? I've read lots of people saying they are losing 10% and that over longer period it should level out but I've been running these rigs for weeks and they consistently underperform the reported hash rate. : r/EtherMining. r/EtherMining. • 7 yr. ago. m41ex1.

Introduction. Many people asked us why the hashrate displayed on rig (Reported Hashrate) is higher than that shown by the mining pool (Effective Hashrate). Though many are told that less than

Minerstat reports the same hashrate as reported by the mining client and that is called "reported hashrate". With time, these two numbers should become similar, but if they don't, you might need to: Check if you are maybe getting a lot of rejected shares that are lowering your hashrate.

Current Hashrate always way lower than Reported Hashrate. https://anarim.az/i.imgur.com/44hX2Av.png I am running 4 different rigs in Ethermine mining pool. However, even though there are no memory errors and almost no stale/invalid shares (0% invalid, about 2% stale) I still get a way lower current hashrate than I should have.

Ceromax May 19, 2021, 10:09am #1. I often get a low real time hashrate vs the reported hashrate what could be the cause of this? If have little invalid shares and around 2,32 stale shares. Ignore the inactive worker, I decided to try out split mining with team red and t-rex miner and gave an extention to my nvidia card.
