Open the ConfigMgr console, and right click on Boot Images under Software Library > Operating Systems. Add Boot Image in ConfigMgr console. Go through the wizard to browse out and select our new boot image WinPE-amd64-2021-02-13.wim.

When you add a boot image, it creates a folder (in my case BootImages) in the Temp folder. Well shortly after it errors out and when I go look in the temp folder sure enough it created the BootImages folder, but when I try and open it I get an error saying I don't currently have permission to access this folder.

Now, I don't know if this is old information, but my colleague read that you need to have the both the x86 and x64 boot image in SCCM\Operating Systems\Boot Images.
Good morning, While I was trying to import a new boot image I’ve made with the Deployment and Imaging Tools Environment: COPYPE.CMD amd64 C:\WINPE64\ I am unable to import a new boot image and is causes the error below. I tried several other boot images and also the existing one what also seems to cause this error.
